Chahinian's campaign website highlighted the following issues:
“ |
The most pressing issues for senior citizens include transitional housing. Transitional housing entering retirement usually requires adjusting to a lower, fixed income. Senior housing, prescription drug and health care costs and availability to quality care are certainly among these issues. Prescription drug prices are still an issue for many seniors. For some, it becomes necessary to choose basic food and shelter needs over essential medications. Financial concerns include the uncertainty social security and Medicare programs. I would like to see all Californians have a descent living throughout the entirety of their lives. Our senior citizens should be cared for instead of neglected.[1] |
