|- I have extensive experience in law enforcement, holding a master peace officer license. My experience includes supervising, undercover, grants, civil subpoenas, grand jury summons, patrol, criminal investigations, felony warrants, K9 handler, and environmental enforcement. My experience in the military includes leading, managing, and training.
- My leadership in law enforcement and in the military is vital, as it provides clear direction, inspiration, and motivation to officers, enabling them to effectively serve and protect the community. Leadership is pivotal in making critical decisions, solving problems, and resolving conflicts, ensuring that the department remains focused and efficient. Effective leadership promotes a positive work environment, encourages innovation in policing strategies, and supports the professional development of officers. Leadership is crucial for maintaining public safety, boosting officer morale, and achieving long-term success and trust within the community.
- Education is important to me. I hold a master's degree, and I am currently working on my doctorate degree. It is crucial in training law enforcement officers, as it equips them with the knowledge, skills, and critical thinking abilities necessary to perform their duties effectively and ethically. It also promotes the development of problem-solving and decision-making skills, enabling officers to handle complex and high-pressure situations with confidence and competence. A well-educated department is better prepared to uphold public safety, build community trust, and adapt to the evolving challenges of the future in law enforcement.
