Chris Edwards (b. 1973) is a former Democratic member of the Oregon State Senate, representing District 7 from 2009 to 2016. He was first appointed to the chamber in 2009 to replace Vicki Walker, who resigned. Edwards resigned from his position effective December 31, 2016 in order to accept a position developing a scientific research facility for the University of Oregon.[1]

Edwards previously served in the Oregon House of Representatives from 2006 to 2009.

Biography

Edwards earned his B.A. in business administration from Oregon State University. His professional experience includes being the owner and operator of Family Forest Product Business.[2]
