Chris Faraone was a 2016 Democratic candidate who sought election to the U.S. House to represent the 7th Congressional District of New Jersey.[1] Faraone intially filed to run but did not appear on the official list of primary candidates.[2]

Incumbent Leonard Lance (R) defeated Peter Jacob (D), Dan O'Neill (L), and Arthur Haussmann Jr. (Conservative) in the general election on November 8, 2016. Lance defeated Craig Heard and David Larsen in the Republican primary, while Jacob faced no opposition for the Democratic nomination. The primary elections took place on June 7, 2016. Lance won re-election in the November 8 election.[3][4]
