Campaign themes

2016

Hadsall's campaign website highlighted the following issues:[1]

  • ECONOMY

Small business is the engine that drives our district, the state and our country. I will support legislation that makes it easier for entrepreneurs to start, grow and run their businesses. I will stand against regulations and government intrusions that hinder innovation and ingenuity.

  • HEALTHCARE

Working in the healthcare industry has given me unique exposure to the myriad issues yet to be dealt with in order for the system to maximize efficiency and effectiveness. Market factors should be the primary drivers rather than government bureaucracy that gets in the way of you and your doctor and limits the consumer’s choices.

  • OPEN SPACE

If you have spent any time walking, running or riding Green Mountain’s open space, Matthew Winters or Red Rock/Morrison Trails, I’m sure we’ve run into each other at some point-in-time. I will protect our Open Space to keep it… Open.

  • EDUCATION

My wife and I have four school-age children so education is extremely important to us. We love our teachers and want to do all that we can to support them. Common Core is an easy target, but what alternatives are available to ensure our children’s futures? One size doesn’t fit all and Coloradans know what’s best for Coloradans.[2]
