Chris Hambuch-Boyle is an at-large incumbent on the Eau Claire Area School District Board of Education in Wisconsin. She was re-elected on April 5, 2016.

Hambuch-Boyle earned her master's degree in speech/language pathology from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire in 1976. Prior to her retirement in June 2012, she was a teacher in the Eau Claire Area School District for over 32 years.[1]

Elections

2016

Four of the seven seats on the Eau Claire Area School District school board were up for general election on April 5, 2016. Incumbents Rich Spindler and Chris Hambuch-Boyle filed for re-election, while fellow board members Chue Xiong and Wendy Sue Johnson opted not to seek a new term. Newcomers Aaron Harder, Jennifer Fager, and Carolyn Barstad all filed as challengers in the race. Fager, Spindler, Hambuch-Boyle, and Barstad won seats in the election.[2]

Spindler resigned from his position in May 2016 effective on June 21, 2016.[3] The district accepted candidate applications for this unexpired position until June 14, 2016. Candidates served a one-year term that expired in April 2017.[3]

Funding

Hambuch-Boyle reported no campaign funding in the election according to the Eau Claire Area School District.[4]

Endorsements

Hambuch-Boyle was endorsed by the Wisconsin State AFL-CIO.[5]
