Chris Hauser is a judge on the McKean County Court of Common Pleas in Pennsylvania. He was elected in 2011 and his term expires in 2022.

2011 election

Hauser won both parties' primaries on May 17. He received 37.6 percent in the Democratic primary and 46.7 percent of the vote in the Republican primary.[1] He was elected to the court after running unopposed on November 8, 2011.[2]

Education

Hauser earned his undergraduate degree from Washington and Jefferson College. He earned his J.D. from the Dickinson Law School of Penn State University in 1979.[3]

Career

Following his admission to the bar Hauser served as a legal assistant at the Department of Justice in Harrisburg. He later entered private practice with McDowell, McDowell, Wick & Daly in 1979. He became a partner of that firm in 1983. He was elected as a Magisterial District Judge for the City of Bradford, Otto and Corydon Townships in 1999.[3]
