Chris Holbert
Chris Holbert (Republican Party) was a member of the Colorado State Senate, representing District 30. He assumed office in 2015. He left office on May 31, 2022.
Holbert (Republican Party) ran for re-election to the Colorado State Senate to represent District 30. He won in the general election on November 6, 2018.
Holbert began serving as state Senate minority leader in 2019.
Holbert announced that he was resigning in May 2022 in order to move to Florida.[1]
Holbert previously served in the Colorado House of Representatives, representing District 44 from 2011 to 2015.
Biography
Holbert earned his B.S. from Loretto Heights College in 1984. His professional experience includes serving as president of The Earn Principle.

Elections for the Colorado State Senate took place in 2014. A primary election took place on June 24, 2014. The general election was held on November 4, 2014. The signature filing deadline for candidates wishing to run in this election was March 31, 2014. Bette Davis was unopposed in the Democratic primary, while Chris Holbert was unopposed in the Republican primary. Holbert defeated Davis and Eric Price (L) in the general election.[2][3][4][5]
2012
Holbert won re-election in the 2012 election for Colorado House of Representatives District 44. He ran unopposed in the June 26, 2012 Republican primary. He defeated Jarrod Austin (L) in the general election on November 6, 2012, as well.[6]
2010
Holbert defeated Polly Lawrence and David Casiano in the August 10 primary. He defeated Peter Douglas Ericson (I) in the November 2 general election.
