Chris Hollowell is a district court judge for the 2nd District Court, which presides over McCracken County, Kentucky.[1] He was first elected in 2006 and was retained by voters in 2010 and 2014.[2][3]  Hollowell's four-year term expired on January 6, 2019.[4]

Hollowell ran for re-election to the 2nd District Court.
Primary: He was successful in the primary on May 20, 2014, receiving 57.4 percent of the vote. He competed against Craig F. Newbern Jr. and Jeremy Ian Smith.
General: He defeated Craig F. Newbern Jr. in the general election on November 4, 2014, receiving 65.3 percent of the vote. [5][6] 

2010

Hollowell ran unopposed and was retained to the 2nd District Court on November 2, 2010, in the general election.[7][8]

Education

Hollowell graduated from Lone Oak High School and earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Kentucky. He earned his J.D. from the University of Louisville Brandeis School of Law.[3]
