Chris Kaminski is a former Republican and judge on the partisan Coffee County District Court in Alabama. He was appointed by Gov. Robert Bentley (R) on May 14, 2015. Kaminski won election to a full term on the court in the general election on November 8, 2016.[1] Kaminski in July 2019 after facing charges of ethics violations.[2]
Biography
Kaminski graduated from Enterprise High School in 2002. Prior to becoming a judge, Kaminski was a prosecutor in the Alabama 12th Judicial Circuit.[1]

Alabama held general elections for local judicial offices in 2016. A primary election took place on March 1, 2016, with a primary runoff on April 12, 2016. The general election was held on November 8, 2016.

There are 98 judgeships on the Alabama District Courts, each elected to six-year terms. The elections for this court are partisan contested elections. To serve on this court, a judge must have been licensed to practice law for three years.[5]
