Kennedy was a 2018 Democratic candidate who sought election to the U.S. House to represent the 3rd Congressional District of Colorado.[1] Kennedy dropped out of the race in December 2017.[2]

Kennedy's professional experience includes owning a telecommunications business in addition to working for a large IT company that provides telecommunications support for gas and oil field locations throughout the United States.[3] He served in the United States Marine Corps from 1984 to 1988 where he was trained in electronics.[4]

Elections for the Colorado House of Representatives took place in 2014. A primary election took place on June 24, 2014. The general election was held on November 4, 2014. The signature filing deadline for candidates wishing to run in this election was March 31, 2014. Christopher Kennedy was unopposed in the Democratic primary, while Daniel Thurlow defeated Steven Acquafresca in the Republican primary. Thurlow defeated Kennedy in the general election.[5][6][7][8]
