After serving my country for 21 years in the Armed Forces, I decided I wasn’t done. I’ve seen our freedoms being taken away so I decided to run for Congress and help keep and restore the freedoms I have defended for so many years. I love meeting people I love helping people and speaking up for those who cannot speak for themselves.

  • US production of energy and reducing inflation.
In the current climate of the country and what is happening I am so passionate about so much. I have a deep spot in my heart for veterans and the military, so what they are doing to our current military breaks my heart, and I would like to make changes to get them back on course to being the best they can be.
Jesus

He sought out those that needed him the most. He never took the easy way out. He demonstrated through his actions what it meant to be a true servant of the people. Those are the traits I will use as a US Congressman serving the the people.
Integrity, morals, listening, responsibility, accountability, and humbleness.
I have a true love for people, and want to try to help everyone. I have developed and continue to work on my ability to be a good listener. My morals and integrity are important to me. Therefore I will not vote for things that do not align with those values. I can separate my personal and professional lives. When it is time to negotiate for the American people I can set aside my emotions to make the best decisions that serve them.
To be a servant of the people. Not to think I have all the answers and to Surround myself with people with expertise and other fields.
When I leave this earth I want people to say he left it all on the table. He never betrayed himself or his Christian values. And if I am so blessed to have made some legislation that will better the world we live in today.

The Bible

Even though it is sometimes hard to read through it and understand everything. There is always a good message or lesson to be learned. And even after you read it you can go back and pull out messages and really have a great discussion to learn more in depth about the meaning..

Imagine Me by Kirk Franklin

It is a song about having hope, to trust in the Lord. Having the ability to overcome the feeling of disparity, of not being good enough.

No matter how desperate things are there is hope. We can change the direction of our lives. We are not alone.

I want to be a beacon of hope for others, to provide hope in a time of darkness.

Much like the state of our country now I am to be that beacon for Americans.
Earlier in my leaf I struggled with alcoholism. Luckily I never hurt or killed anyone because of my irresponsible actions. I have overcome that and I’m proud of where I am today. This has also provided me with a better understanding of people with addiction issues.
To be honest, currently they do not possess much that makes it unique. It is totally divided, and it’s all about party as opposed to being about the people. In a perfect world it would be able to sit down and work together to further make this a better nation.
No I do not. Politics has made out to be this really complicated title. The main things that make up working in politics, is the ability to work with others, understand such things as the law, logistics, finance, and business. They need to understand what is important to the family dynamic. Those are basic human skills and to often politicians are only versed in the law and have not faced many difficulties prior to going into office. We need more people who are well rounded in many areas that current Americans ignore every day
The media not reporting and being truthful to the citizens they are supposed to be serving. I personally feel they are the cause of the division in this country and perhaps even the deaths of many.
I would love to be in charge of oversight. I feel our money is being spent without much scrutiny and therefore being wasted. Working with the military and veterans would be another area I would like. I also would like to be in charge of the energy and climate.
I think being I have not held this position yet it is very hard for me to decide if that is a correct term limit. Until I win this election I would think a three-year term with three terms might be something to look at.
I do believe there should be term limits. Currently there is talk of a 5year term. I would not be opposed to that unless a better option came about.
Being I have been paying more attention over the last 10 years, I would say Senator Manchin. He is the only one that has been willing to stand up against his party line to do what’s right for the people. Who knows, maybe once I get there and medium I will change my mind.
I think one of the most memorable was about a daughter of a mom who got the vaccination at the age of 15. She already had college offers and is now basically living at Dorn Becker‘s hospital trying to recover.
Compromise is always necessary. But not at the expense of integrity, morals and what is best for the people.
It is my hope to stop needless spending. And fight every single bill that comes in front of me. It must be 100% legitimate and have every dollar accounted for.

Campaign website

Mann's campaign website stated the following:

POLICING

We all see what happens when you DEFUND the Police, change bail laws and have DA’s that refuse to prosecute the law breakers. It is my mission to reverse all those community destroying actions. In Portland alone there has been a 200% increase in shootings and homicides. Car thefts, and catalytic convertors are the norm. We cannot let the radical agendas make our city an unsafe place to live and work. Our police have saved countless amounts of lives. With over twenty-five million public interactions a year they have served with honor and should be commended for the work they do. I will see to it that they have the funds and support they need to continue the great work they do, and all the funds for the training they require.

EDUCATION

Parents should decide what their children are taught in school, as well as choosing the school their children attend. No longer should the unions and school boards decide what our children need. Test scores and graduations are at an all-time low. Yet the radicals think that teaching children as early as 6 years about gender identity is the right time and place. Some districts think it is okay offer children hormone blockers without the parents’ knowledge. Neither those or the inaccurate and damaging propaganda of CRT is something that is taught in schools. The job of the schools is reading, writing, and Math, the very subjects Oregon decided weren’t necessary to graduate. Elementary school is a time children learn social skills not crazy radical brainwashing.

THE BORDER AND IMMIGRATION

Under this administration our country has become increasingly unsafe. More than 4 million people have entered our country. More than 1 million snuck in without documentation, some of those are on the International Terrorist list. Fentanyl has killed more than 140,000 people, and it is still pouring across the border. Sex trafficking and organ harvesting is at an all-time high. I will lead the change to close the border and put a stop to those egregious crimes. Meanwhile those that have worked hard to become citizens often get lost in an antiquated, and outdated immigration system.

True Servant Leadership

No longer do we have a government that puts the people first. Long term politicians are only concerned with 3 things. Get elected, stay elected, and not cross the part lines. We need term limits to rid the corrupt self-serving people in office. How can someone vote 100% of the time with the speaker of the house, but still claim to be serving the people.

My message is clear, as your congressman I will not sit back and be a fundraiser. I will work tirelessly for the people. My performance will win favor with the people, and it will be them that re-elects me. As a Christian there are countless stories of what is means to be a true servant of the people. This is not about me, but about you, the taxpaying people of this country.[2]
