McCullough resides in Plymouth, Minnesota, with his wife and two daughters. McCullough earned a B.A. in economics and political science from the University of Iowa and an M.A. in political science from Indiana University before earning a J.D. from the University of Minnesota Law School. Prior to earning his law degree, he served as an account manager for Baxter Healthcare and as an associate instructor at Indiana University. After becoming an attorney, McCullough taught courses at the University of Minnesota Law School and Art Institutes International. He also worked with the Gray Plant Mooty Law Firm, Carlson Companies, and Honeywell Building Solutions. He went on to become the vice president and general counsel for Honeywell Sensing and Control.[1]

Three of the seven seats on the Wayzata Public Schools school board in Minnesota were up for nonpartisan general election on November 7, 2017. Incumbents Andrea Cuene, Sarah Johansen, and Chris McCullough were all re-elected without opposition.[2]

McCullough filed a form detailing that he had not spent or received more than $750.00 for his campaign. Because of this, he did not have to file additional reports.[3]

Funding

McCullough reported no contributions and $2,263.36 in expenditures to Wayzata Public Schools, which left his campaign with $2,263.36 in debt in the election.[4]

Endorsements

McCullough was endorsed by former Wayzata school board chairs Pat Gleason and Greg Rye.[5]
