Campaign statements

Menges says he believes in keeping down judiciary costs, but understands that a juvenile's truancy issue could be part of a "ripple effect" stemming from family crisis, including domestic violence, divorce, custody battles and home foreclosures.[4]

He said, one issue could result in a family's needing to go before judges several times.[4]

"They are human beings with goals and dreams," he said. "I realize that they got problems and those problems need to be addressed on a human level." The 34-year attorney, said he wants to be a judge who is humble and empathetic.[4]

Education

Menges received an undergraduate degree from Franklin & Marshall College and a J.D. from the University of Baltimore.[5]

Career

Menges is a partner at Trinity Law, A Menges & McLaughlin Firm. He has served as an assistant district attorney for York County and as a borough solicitor.[6][7]
