Chris Muns (Democratic Party) is a member of the New Hampshire House of Representatives, representing Rockingham 29. He assumed office on December 7, 2022. His current term ends on December 2, 2026.
Muns (Democratic Party) ran for re-election to the New Hampshire House of Representatives to represent Rockingham 29. He won in the general election on November 5, 2024.
Biography
Muns graduated from the American School in London, England, in 1973. Muns earned a B.A., cum laude, in economics from Bowdoin College in 1977 and an M.B.A. in finance/accounting from Dartmouth College's Amos Tuck School of Business Administration in 1982. His career experience includes working in a variety of human resource management roles for organizations such as Raytheon, Fisher Scientific, Fidelity Investment, and Comverse Technologies. Before retiring in 2020, Muns was the CEO of One Sky Community Services, a nonprofit based in Portsmouth, New Hampshire.[1]

Chris Muns was unopposed in the Democratic primary, while incumbent Nancy Stiles defeated Steve Kenda in the Republican primary. Muns and Stiles faced off in the general election.[2] Incumbent Stiles defeated Muns in the general election.[3]

Muns won election in the 2012 election for New Hampshire House of Representatives, Rockingham 21. Muns advanced past the September 11 primary and won election in the general election, which took place on November 6, 2012.[4][5]

Muns advanced past the September 14 primary election. He faced incumbent Robert Cushing (D), incumbent Christopher Nevins (R), Bill Ford (D), Dick Desrosiers (D), Larry Stuker (D), Kevin Sullivan (R), Frederick Rice (R), Jim Waddell (R), and Kenneth Sheffert (R) in the November 2 general election.
