Chris Norwood

Biography
Norwood has a bachelor's degree in Christian leadership and biblical theology. He is a software product manager and founder of the Bay Area Tutoring Association, a nonprofit that provides "tutor training, academic support, parent empowerment, intervention and enrichment tutoring programs."[1]

The election in Milpitas Unified featured three seats up for general election on November 4, 2014. There was no primary election.
Incumbents Danny Lau and William Foulk ran for re-election against the following six challengers: Russ Bargstadt, Vance Vuong, David Freeman, Demetress Morris, Robert Nunez and Chris Norwood. Lau won his bid for re-election, but Foulk came in fourth. Norwood and Nunez won election to the board.
