Chris Olds is a district court judge for the 48th District Court, which presides over Franklin County in Kentucky.[1] Olds was elected in 2008 in a special election held upon the retirement of Judge Guy Hart. He won the right to fill Hart's unexpired term.[2] He was then re-elected without opposition in 2010 and 2014, and his four-year term expired on January 6, 2019.[3] [4]

Education

Olds received his undergraduate degree from Georgetown University. He went on to earn a J.D. from the University of Kentucky in 1997.[2][6]

Career

At the time of his 2008 election to the bench, Olds was a partner with the firm Bullock & Coffman.[2] He began his career serving as a prosecutor for one year before moving into private practice.[6]
