Chris Reed was a District 2 representative on the Clear Creek Independent School District school board in Texas. Reed won a first term in the by-district general election on May 6, 2017. He passed away on June 7, 2019.[1]

Two of the seven seats on the Clear Creek Independent School District school board were up for by-district general election on May 6, 2017. District 3 incumbent Ken Baliker lost to Arturo Sanchez. The District 2 seat was also up for election, but the election was canceled due to lack of opposition. Newcomer Chris Reed was automatically elected.[2][3]

Due to lack of opposition, the election was canceled, and Reed was automatically elected.
