Chris Roof was a member of the Keller Independent School District in Texas, representing Place 4. Roof assumed office on December 31, 2017. Roof left office on May 17, 2023.
Roof won re-election to the Keller Independent School District to represent Place 4 in Texas outright after the general election on May 2, 2020, was canceled.

The election was canceled due to lack of opposition. Chris Roof was automatically re-elected.
2017
Two of seven seats on the Keller Independent School District board of trustees were up for by-district general election on May 6, 2017. Place 4 incumbent Craig Allen withdrew from the race. Chris Roof defeated Peiman Montazeri for the Place 4 seat. The open Place 5 seat attracted four candidates: Beverly Dixon defeated Frank Arban, Candy Bruton, and Sherry Simon.[1]
