Chris Schmidt was a 2014 candidate for the Second Judicial District (Place 2) in Mississippi.[1][2]

Schmidt ran for election to the Second Judicial District.
Schmidt received 42 percent of the vote in the general election.Schmidt and Walker competed in a runoff election held November 25, 2014. Schmidt was successful, receiving 60 percent of the vote and defeating Walker.[3][1]  Schmidt received 42 percent of the vote in the general election.

Education

Schmidt earned his undergraduate degree in Criminal Justice from the University of Southern Mississippi in 1992 and earned a law degree from the University of Mississippi in 1995.[2]
