Chris Thieneman (independent) ran for election to the Louisville City Council to represent District 7 in Kentucky. He lost in the general election on November 8, 2022.

Thieneman is a former professional football player in both the National Football League (Dallas Cowboys) and the Canadian Football League. He now works with his family's real estate business.[1]

Thieneman ran in the 2012 election for Kentucky State Senate District 37. He defeated Doug Hawkins and John Yuen in the Republican primary on May 22, 2012, and was defeated by incumbent Perry Clark (D) in the general election on November 6, 2012.[2][3]
