I am a conservative Catholic and a patriotic American. I am also a professor of personal finance at Creighton University, a landlord, a Corvette enthusiast and a volunteer in the Omaha community with Kiwanis, Rotary and several other organizations. God blessed me with caring parents and an abundance of great mentors. I cannot imagine where I would be without their guidance or the education I've received. That's why I am so passionate about making sure every child in Omaha has the opportunity to learn, grow and prosper in a community that supports and encourages them.
  • Engage parents and encourage involvement in their children’s education
  • Advocate for necessary support and resources for our teachers
  • Hold community partners accountable to maximize our investment in children’s education

Moral integrity, a strong backbone to uphold core values, and humility to seek advice from subject matter experts.
Even at a young age, I always enjoyed educating and mentoring others to help them succeed. My childhood experiences as captain of the soccer team, coach of my sister's soccer team, and captain of the Mock Trial team prepared me to lead as the President of Creighton's Mock Trial program, a resident assistant in the dorms and a leader in several other campus organizations. Upon graduation, my commitment to community involvement continued through leadership roles in Kiwanis, Rotary, the Arthritis Foundation, CHAD/CHC, Serra Club of West Omaha, the Cornhusker Corvette Club and many other organizations. My passion for mentorship led to my teaching position at Creighton University.
All of these prior roles allowed me to learn how to conduct meetings efficiently and effectively, listen to multiple sides of all issues, manage relationships, navigate emotions and ultimately lead very diverse groups of people toward a common goal within each organization. As a graduate of Leadership Omaha, I also know how diverse opinions are in the Omaha community and I proved to my class of cohorts that I work well with people from all backgrounds and perspectives - even those that disagree with me.
