Biography
True graduated from Scarborough High School. He served in the U.S. Army from 1974 to 1976. True's career experience includes working in the trucking industry. He served as the chairman of a zoning board of adjustment.[1]

2014
Elections for the New Hampshire House of Representatives took place in 2014. A primary election took place on September 9, 2014. The general election was held on November 4, 2014. The signature filing deadline for candidates wishing to run in this election was June 13, 2014. Two candidates were unopposed in the Democratic primary, while nine candidates faced off in the Republican primary.[6] The general election was contested by two Democrats and five Republicans. The Democrats were Charlotte Lister and Stephen D'Angelo. The Republicans participants were William M. Gannon, Jason Osborne, Chris True, incumbent Joseph Hagan, and incumbent James Devine. All five Republicans were victorious over the Democrats in the general election.[7]
