  • Voting Access - Will advocate by educating constituents about the importance of voting and integrating voter education in everything I am doing and every event I am attending.
  • Economic Development - Will advocate by conducting an equality assessment to see where money is being spent and reallocate funding to ensure equitable economic recovery from Covid-19, making jobs by attractive by paying fair wages and offering better benefits, making resource and information more accessible to people who want to start new businesses or look for training & jobs, creating community school for people who do not go to colleges or returning citizens.
  • City Beautification - Will advocate by working with the city and civic organizations to inform and educate people on the importance of picking up trash and not littering in our communities, recruiting more waste workers and pay them pair wages and benefits, getting more city leaders on board to advocate for trash pickup, hiring artists to create recyclable art
Gun Violence Awareness

As a a community advocate and City Councilwoman, I will advocate for more access to gun violence awareness education for our youth and will provide opportunities to engage them in the community. I will also work with the police and community leaders to create violence prevention programs and support legislation to make access to guns harder including expanding background checks. Also, seek funding for violence intervention programs and violence victim programs is a must.

Also Supporting :

Incentives to residents who start community co-ops to sell healthy food in communities with food deserts

Support a livable wage $15 or more

Create and repair sidewalks and bike lanes for more walkability and connectivity in our communities

I started my first job "hand washing" dishes when I
was 15 years old. I grew up in the Rural town of Santee, SC and this was the only job that I was able to work at an early age. This job marked the start of the hard work and independence that I value today. Most importantly, I understand the the needs of everyday people who provide service to our communities and work tirelessly to care for their families.
