My 92 year old Granny is my mentor for life. My entire Iife I have watched her show unconditional love to everyone around her. She never asks for anything, LOVES work, is an amazing cook & gardener.

Christi Gillespie made our State better.
I was 11 when President Ronald Reagan was shot. I remember the fear of my teachers & other students. I wrote him a letter & he wrote back. I still have that letter, framed in my office.
I starting babysitting at a very early age of 10. 1st real job was as a hostess at a steakhouse.
1st big girl job out of college was as the Office Manager for the Tulsa Ronald McDonald House. I had no idea that the relationships that I would build there would be valuable as a future State Senate candidate.
The Shack. Other than the Bible it is the only book I have read multiple times. I love how it brings to life the Trinity. It is also a valuable story of forgiveness

Truthfulness & Open Door on both sides. It’s ridiculous to think we will always agree, but emotional maturity is the ability to discuss, disagree (or agree) & move on.
Relationships matter…no matter what business you are in. The ability to disagree (or agree) & move forward in a positive matter is crucial.
Ability to carry on municipal property (continue my work on HB2136); Legislative changes to allow NSU-BA to offer 1st & 2nd year courses; Protections for non-paid elected officials to cover their speech during official proceedings to not be used against them for job termination.

The government has no money. It is ALL the people’s money. I owe complete transparency to the people.
I support changes. More checks & balances need to occur BEFORE an item can become a state ballot initiative. Getting signatures is the easy part. Actually implementing a bad bill (like medical marijuana) can be devastating to a state & local communities.

Scorecards

See also: State legislative scorecards and State legislative scorecards in Oklahoma

A scorecard evaluates a legislator’s voting record. Its purpose is to inform voters about the legislator’s political positions. Because scorecards have varying purposes and methodologies, each report should be considered on its own merits. For example, an advocacy group’s scorecard may assess a legislator’s voting record on one issue while a state newspaper’s scorecard may evaluate the voting record in its entirety.

Ballotpedia is in the process of developing an encyclopedic list of published scorecards. Some states have a limited number of available scorecards or scorecards produced only by select groups. It is Ballotpedia’s goal to incorporate all available scorecards regardless of ideology or number.
