Christian Cecil Kohlsaat
Christian Cecil Kohlsaat (1844-1918) was a federal judge on the United States Court of Appeals for the 7th Circuit and the United States District Court for the Northern District of Illinois.[1] Kohlsaat died on May 11th, 1918.

Judicial nominations and appointments
Seventh Circuit
Kohlsaat was nominated by President Theodore Roosevelt on March 18, 1905. He was confirmed by the Senate and received commission that same day. He served until his death on May 11, 1918.[1]
Northern District of Illinois
Kohlsaat was nominated by President William McKinley on February 23, 1899. He was confirmed by the Senate on February 28, 1899, and received commission that same day. He served on this court until March 24, 1905.[1] Kohlsaat was succeeded in this position by Solomon Hicks Bethea.
