Biography

Christian Horn's career experience includes owning a strategic solutions engineering firm and working as the CEO of Code the South. Horn founded Safety City Roundtable and has served as chairman of the Tennessee Valley Republican Club.[1][2]

The Alabama Republican Party chose Robin Litaker as the party's nominee to replace Christian Horn in the general election. Horn unofficially withdrew from the primary but still appeared on the primary ballot. He officially withdrew from the race before the general election.[3]

Elections for the Alabama House of Representatives took place in 2014. A primary election took place on June 3, 2014; a runoff election took place where necessary on July 15, 2014. The general election was held on November 4, 2014. The signature filing deadline for candidates wishing to run in this election was February 7, 2014. Anthony Daniels was unopposed in the Democratic primary. Elbert Peters (R) withdrew on April 1, 2014, after realizing he did not live in the district.[4]. Christian Horn (R) was selected to replace Peters on April 7, 2014. Daniels then defeated Horn in the general election on November 4, 2014.[5][6][7][8][9][10]
