I am a former Omaha Police Officer having served in patrol, the Criminal Investigations Bureau and in the Special Operations Section - Gang Unit. I attended law school while working as an officer and upon graduating, I had the opportunity to work for the Chief Justice of the Nebraska Supreme Court. I now work as an attorney in private practice and serve part-time as a police officer for a small-town west of Omaha. As a police officer, I have seen where improvements to our criminal justice system are needed and as an attorney, I see where the state should improve the language of our state statutes, cut red tape, and reduce burdensome taxes and regulations. I am the only candidate in this race with real world experience in law, law enforcement, conflict resolution and consensus building.
  • We need lower taxes and less government regulation and interference.
  • We need to improve access to affordable and quality housing, healthcare, job opportunities.
  • We must support our police, parents, and educators.
I am passionate about improving the lives and opportunities of all Nebraskans and finding ways to bridge the partisan and geographic gap to do just that. As a husband and father, I want what every Nebraskan wants; a safe, healthy, and prosperous community and state. That is why I am passionate about tax relief, public safety, and quality healthcare. With a professional background as a police officer, attorney, and small business owner, I know how to move our state forward and break the cycle of partisan gridlock.
