- Building an Economy for Working People:
Fighting to raise wages, protect good union jobs, and invest in local manufacturing and infrastructure .
Lowering prescription drug costs, protect coverage for people with preexisting conditions, and expand access to doctors and hospitals in rural and small-town communities.
Taking on the monopolies by enforcing antitrust laws and ensure companies compete fairly so our communities can thrive.
Advancing policies that help build and preserve affordable homes, and offer first-time buyers the help they need.
Strengthening family farms by stopping large agribusinesses from driving down prices, investing in local food processing and distribution, and expanding crop insurance and disaster relief. - Safeguarding our Constitution: Defending the right to vote, due process, and equal treatment under the law. Our Constitution is not negotiable. Safeguarding our troops and supporting them in combat, as well as once their service is complete by reinvesting in veterans' care, education, and jobs. Fighting for every veteran to have access to the care, opportunity, and respect they deserve by strengthening the VA, improving mental health care, and expanding job training and housing support. Working toward a border security and immigration system that is orderly, lawful, and rooted in the faith and decency that define the American spirit. America has always been both a nation of laws and a nation of immigrants — and we can honor both.
- Investing in Our Future: Pushing to expand pre-K for every family, make community college and trade schools tuition-free, and pay our teachers what they are worth. Fighting to make sure Washington remembers rural America by expanding high-speed internet to every home and farm, investing in rural health care, and helping our farmers compete on a level playing field. Supporting smart investments in our electrical grid, renewable energy, and storage technology to create good jobs. We can build for our future energy needs while keeping costs down, and make sure large energy users are held accountable. Holding polluters accountable and making sure cleanup costs fall on those who caused the mess, not on taxpayers.
