  • I am running to bring balanced and informed representation for North Texans. I will meet with, listen to, and respect all constituents of this district; not just people from one political party. My campaign is centered around finding out what issues are critical to North Texans, and then working with respect for citizens and colleagues, to come up with solutions.
  • Planning for water and energy production/conservation, storage, distribution, and costs is a critical need for the entire state of Texas. This effects all areas of life: agriculture, industry, housing, and recreation. We need to take a hard, serious look at depletion of aquifers, cleaning/recycling of water used in heavy industries, creation of new lakes, upkeep/refreshing of distribution systems and equipment, and encouragement of planning for suburban energy & water demands.
  • I support our public schools, the educators, and the staff. I am against the use of public tax monies for private education. I am for paying our public school educators and staff a real living wage, and having that rate tied into the yearly inflation rate.
Our election system integrity (voter's rights) and modernization. I have been an election presiding judge in Denton County since 2016, and know first-hand how Election Day Precinct-based polling locations disenfranchise registered voters who happen to be at the wrong polling site. Voter fraud in Denton County is almost non-existent, while voter disenfranchisement via Precinct-based voting (i.e. non-Vote Centers) and the 30 day waiting period between voter registration and being allowed to vote, is rampant and totally unnecessary. Let's bring voting up into the 21st Century while at the same time ensuring election integrity.
