In an electronic communication, DuBois described his political philosophy:[1]
"Restoring trust in government is priority number one if elected. People feel like their voice is not being heard from their government and that is not acceptable. It is my goal to be completely transparent with my constituents. One of my objectives is to create a weekly e-mail newsletter where I will highlight where I stand on upcoming bills and ask for peoples input. I also wish to include where I voted on past bills. It is important that our legislatures are actual representatives of the people and not simply pushing an agenda. I want to create an environment that encourages new businesses to come to New Hampshire. I will work to promote economic growth for this state, reform education standards in addition to how state-aid is distributed, as well as to protect New Hampshire's valuable environment and natural resources. I will also work to promote the social freedoms that make New Hampshire such a great state to live and work. Restoring trust in government, revitalizing our economy and promoting social freedom will ensure that our granite state is prospering."
