Question Response
Is it important for the city’s budget to be balanced?
Very important
Which level of government do you feel should set a minimum wage?
None
What do you think is the best way to improve a city’s public safety?
The city needs to be educated on Gun Safety. Each person needs to be responsible for what goes on in their neighborhood. Utilize the Police and start reporting what you see and not turn a blind eye. Begin working and utilizing the Community Associations to get your voice heard.
How do you think your city should emphasize economic development?
Use Main Street in Pig Town as a model. That community knows how to build on block at a time.

Additional themes

Digman's campaign website listed the following themes for 2016:

I got involved in politics because of several reasons:

  • After the riots in April 2015 I became critically aware that Baltimore politicians have not been serving their constituents. I have been observing and signing petitions, but noting is changing. We have all become painfully aware of that fact as we look around our neighborhoods each day. Baltimore is broken and how can I not take that personal. I enjoy living in this city and visiting its neighborhoods and I’m not going to sit idly by as the city continues to fall into such a state of disrepair, corruption and chaos.
  • It has been 73 years with no Republicans in City Council and over 50 years without a Republican in a City wide office.
  • I am anti – incinerator.
  • I am pro audit and fiscal responsibility in any City office.
  • I want to lower the property tax and replace the revenue from the fraud, waste and abuse uncovered in the audits. I want those who have criminally mismanaged funds to be held responsible to the fullest extent of the law.
  • There are over 40 communities and neighborhoods in District 10. We need to return to old fashioned values of where we know our neighbors, the local Police, and the activity on your block.

We all agree on the same issues but we only disagree on how to fix it. The Dems have failed for 50 years, why not try a different approach?

What I can offer you:

  • Integrity
  • Transparency
  • Open Door Policy
