Governor John Baldacci nominated Foster for reappointment in November 2010. The nomination must be confirmed by the Maine Senate in order for Foster to keep serving.[2]
Education
Foster received her undergraduate degree from Colby College and her J.D. from the University of Maine School of Law.[2]
Career
Prior to joining the District Courts, Foster served as Assistant Attorney General for the state from 1989 to 1996.[2]
