Christine Guerci-Nyhus was a 2014 judicial candidate for the Eighth Judicial District Court in Nevada.[1]

Guerci-Nyhus ran for election to the Eighth Judicial District Court.
General: She was defeated in the general election on November 4, 2014, after receiving 44.0 percent of the vote. She competed against incumbent Douglas E. Smith. [1] 

Education

Guerci-Nyhus received a B.A. in history, with a minor in physics, from the University of New York. She graduated from New York Law School with her J.D. in 1991.[2]

Career

Guerci-Nyhus is a deputy attorney general for Nevada's Mortgage Lending Division. She has served as the interim city attorney in Henderson, the regional chief deputy attorney general for Southern Nevada, and the chief of the Bureau of Public Affairs.[2]
