|- Expand our CC trade programs by connecting with local businesses and developing apprenticeship programs all over LA. I want to expand the current trade programs to make them more accessible for students and connect them with local businesses so they head right into a good job where they will continue to learn and develop their trade.
- Support the part time faculty with better benefits, pay and working conditions. I am also part time faculty so I understand how this works and what the needs are for those of us who aren’t full time. - Homelessness is a huge problem! We can help students and faculty who are facing this terrifying situation. We can provide safe places for those who are forced to sleep in their cars. We can provide safe and clean places to shower and take care of basic needs. We can have food pantries so they can have access to healthy food and essentials. We can do better and more for our CC community, students and faculty!
