Krahulik ran for election to the Orange County Family Court.
Primary: She was defeated in the Republican primary on September 9, 2014, receiving 49.8 percent of the vote. She competed against David V. Hasin. Initial primary results placed Krahulik just 5 votes behind Hasin in the Republican primary. Karhulik also cross-filed to run on the Conservative party line, and she won that primary with 52.7 percent of the vote.
General: She defeated David V. Hasin (Republican) and Christine Stage (Independence) in the general election on November 4, 2014, receiving 51.3 percent of the vote.

Krahulik received her undergraduate degree from Siena College in 1987. She went on to earn her J.D. from Albany Law School in 1990.[3][4]
