Christine Odell Cook Miller was a federal judge for the United States Court of Federal Claims. She joined the court in 1983 after being nominated by President Ronald Reagan. She was reappointed in 1998 by Bill Clinton.[1] Judge Miller retired from the court on February 28, 2013.[2]

Early life and education

Miller earned her B.A. at Stanford University in 1966, studying political science. She went on to earned her J.D. in 1969 at the University of Utah College of Law.[1]

According to her biography, "Judge Miller is a Professional Gemologist and a member of the Cosmos Club."[1]

Judicial career

Federal Claims

Miller was nominated to the United States Court of Federal Claims by President Ronald Reagan on December 10, 1982. Miller was confirmed by the U.S. Senate on January 24, 1983 and immediately entered duty. Her term ran out and she was reappointed by Bill Clinton and confirmed on February 4, 1998.[1] In February 2013, Judge Miller retired from the court.[2]
