Christine Quinn-Brintnall
Christine Quinn-Brintnall was a judge on the Washington Court of Appeals, Division II. She was elected to this position in 2000 and was re-elected in 2006 and 2012. Quinn-Brintnall retired from the court on January 2, 2014.[1][2] She died on May 19, 2014, at the age of 62, after battling cancer.[3]
Education
Quinn-Brintnall received her undergraduate degree from The Evergreen State College and her J.D. in 1980 from the University of Puget Sound.[1]
Career
Quinn-Brintnall began her legal career as a clerk for Judge James Anderson of the Court of Appeals, Division I. She then worked as a deputy prosecuting attorney for King County. From 1983 to 1986, Quinn-Brintnall served as the chief criminal deputy for Pierce County. She then became the senior criminal prosecutor and the head of the appeals unit for Pierce County until 1994. Quinn-Brintnall worked in the civil division of the Pierce County Prosecuting Attorney's Office from 1994 until 2000, when she was elected to the Court of Appeals.[1]
2012 election
Quinn-Brintnall was re-elected to the Washington Court of Appeals after running unopposed in the primary election on August 7, 2012.[4][5][6]
