|As an Army wife at Fort Bragg, I earned my Bachelor’s in Criminal Justice from Fayetteville State University, a Historically Black University. I then worked hard to earn my Master’s in Public Policy while taking care of premature twins.
I was previously appointed as the Emergency Manager for North Carolina's Judicial Branch, and I proudly serve as a member of North Carolina's statewide Emergency Response Team. I am trained and battle-tested in preventing and responding to any number of emergency situations, including attacks against our critical infrastructure.
As a former law enforcement officer, I understand that Constitutional liberties protect us, law and order are an essential part of society, and we must protect our U.S. borders and democracy around the world. And as a mother of three, I also know we need strong leadership to refocus education away from liberal Critical Race Theory doctrines, lower taxes to ensure the quality of life for our families, and protection of our constitutional liberties and freedoms that protect the democracy of America.- I am the most educated, trained, and qualified to be a successful Secretary of State. I have previous law enforcement training and experience; The Secretary of State’s office has investigative and prosecutorial authority over fraud and counterfeiting which makes my law enforcement experience an asset. I have experience supporting over 500 elected officials and 6000 employees as the NC Judicial Branch Emergency Manager, and I have a Masters Degree in Public Policy/Public Administration from Liberty University. I have the skills, ability, training, and education to create an organization that will make it easier to start a small business, protect citizens from fraud, and create an office that always prioritizes people.
- Various agencies of the North Carolina Executive Branch have recently handed down extensive rules and regulations, many of which place undue burdens on businesses and continue to hinder job creation. Many of these mandates and rules are not at all necessary for the public interest and simply advance personal agendas. To strengthen North Carolina’s economy, I will fight to reduce the burdens placed on businesses, particularly on small businesses. For businesses to thrive in North Carolina, the government simply needs to get out of the way. This means reducing regulatory burdens and regulations and streamlining processes for those creating a business with the Secretary of State’s office. Rolling back these burdensome regulations and reducing
- As North Carolina’s Secretary of State my priority will be to ensure that my agency is restrained in its spending and is limited to what is necessary to serve North Carolinians. Under the Democrats, government spending has grown dramatically, and I aim to curb this so that the citizens of North Carolina can keep more of their hard-earned money. As a steward of taxpayer funds, I will make sure that every dollar spent by my agency is well spent and only spent in their best interest. I am committed to making tough choices to save taxpayer’s money and to ensure that their money does not fund private business ventures or pick winners and losers in a way that makes North Carolina less economically competitive.

|I am a former police officer who saw firsthand the need for strong security on our southern border and in our communities. I am currently employed with the State Judicial Branch as an Emergency Management professional. I was raised in a military family, and I support our men and women in our Armed Forces. My Father retired from the Air Force and is a Vietnam Veteran, and my first husband of 16 years was an Army Paratrooper serving in Iraq and Kuwait.I plan to expand opportunities for North Carolinians by helping conservatives take back our country by restoring democratic values, limiting government’s harmful policies, and promoting capitalism to boost our economy. I am an avid supporter of family farms and small businesses, and I will make it a priority to protect both from harmful mandates tyrannically proposed by the current Administration. Eliminating wasteful government spending, reducing taxes, stimulating the economy, reducing inflation, protecting Constitutional liberties, and banning Critical Race Theory are also my priority.
- I will focus on pro-growth policies that empower small businesses to create jobs and bolster our economy. I will stand up to Democrats who want to continue to disincentivize Americans from returning to work. I will fight to keep the regulatory burden low and fight for lower corporate taxes. I will also encourage policies that bring key industries back to America and push for made in America first.
- I know the importance of a well-funded military and strong national defense and will work tirelessly in Congress to ensure our military has the full support of the federal government. The security of the United States is inextricably linked to other countries around the world. We must reinforce our commitment and credibility by bolstering our military. Our defensive posture is not divisible. The United States must be decisive in our security abroad so that we can provide security at home. Our national security also means securing our southern border and supporting our men and women in law enforcement. Leading with strength and power at home and abroad makes the world safer.
- I believe in fiscal responsibility. I know that our children and grandchildren will be responsible for the reckless spending of the current administration. I am opposed to the seemingly endless spending of trillions of dollars by the Democrats without consideration of the national debt or the taxpayers who foot the bill.

Campaign website
Villaverde's campaign website stated the following:
“ |
PUBLIC SAFETY & SAFE COMMUNITIES I want my children to grow up in an America where people are safe in their own homes. We must return to the days of being tough on crime and tough on hardened repeat offenders. Instead of coddling criminals and illegal immigrants we need to further improve public safety to create safer neighborhoods for all. As a former police officer, I can be counted on to fight any efforts to defund the police, and instead prioritize more funding to increase law enforcement hiring and training while also reforming the criminal justice system. And as your voice in Washington, I will keep our streets and borders safe from gangs, drug cartels, and violent criminals, make our schools safer for children, and put special attention towards protecting our seniors from fraud, exploitation, and financial abuse. At the same time, I will work to ensure funding to help create effective programs to combat the opioid epidemic that is tearing apart families and communities.
ON BEHALF OF THE UNBORN, NO ONE WILL FIGHT HARDER IN THE HALLS OF CONGRESS THAN CHRISTINE VILLAVERDE. As a Christian and a mother to three boys, I am committed to the life of the unborn. I know all children are a gift from God and I will fight against any effort to expand abortion. I will oppose legislation to spend taxpayer dollars on abortions. A priority of mine will be working to defund abortion. I pray the Supreme Court will overturn Roe v. Wade.
We must enable North Carolinians to have every opportunity to pursue the American dream, which means protecting them from the inflation and taxation that destroys the middle class. I will lead the fight to lower your taxes and cut wasteful government spending, so we can strengthen our economy not just for today but future generations. Raising a family is difficult, but it is even harder when our government is taxing us right and left. To improve our economy, I am committed to going to Washington to stand up against the left-wing administration that is destroying small and large businesses from Main Street to Wall Street. Another priority will be to reduce government regulations and policies that are harmful to workforce development training, employment and job growth, and business competitiveness.
As a lifelong NRA member and gun owner, I am a staunch supporter of the Second Amendment. I believe the Constitution was created with the intent to protect and preserve the individual rights of Americans, including the right to bear arms. We must uphold our rights as citizens, and we must vehemently oppose any infringement upon our God-given rights. In Congress I will serve as a strong and vocal defender of our Constitutional rights and fight against those that would deny our personal liberties and our freedom of religion. This includes our right to oppose mask or vaccine mandates which violate personal liberties and are clearly politically motivated and not scientifically proven to protect our health.
"Our leaders must remember that education doesn't begin with some isolated bureaucrat in Washington. It doesn't even begin with state or local officials. Education begins in the home, where it is a parental right and responsibility." - Ronald Reagan I firmly believe our children have a right to a solid educational foundation. Liberal politicians have failed America’s children and schools, and North Carolina parents deserve accountability and choice in education. Instead of focusing on basics like math, science, English, and American history, progressives have imposed a destructive Critical Race Theory curriculum that deliberately chips away at moral values, attempt to rewrite history, and indoctrinates current students with destructive and toxic messaging meant to further divide our Nation. I will fight the teachers’ unions and liberal politicians, work to return control of our children’s education to parents and local school districts, who are best equipped to make learning decisions for our children. I also believe that skills training is an important component for our youth’s education in high schools, to prepare a workforce that can create more local jobs and American-made products.
From the incompetent and deadly Afghanistan exit fiasco that cost the lives of 13 of our heroic service members to paving the way for Russia to complete the Nord Stream 2 gas pipeline, Democrats in Washington have made an embarrassment out of America on the world stage. We must regain our respectability and credibility, while protecting freedom, democracy, and American interests at home and around the world. Growing up in an Air Force military family and as the wife of a deployed Army soldier, I had a front-row seat to the demands placed on our armed forces and their families. We must stand behind our veterans who put their lives on the line, with job opportunities, tax breaks, and prioritize both physical and psychological healthcare for Veterans and their families.[5] |
