Christopher B. Latham is the chief judge of the United States bankruptcy court, Southern District of California. He was appointed to the court on October 1, 2012.[1][2] Latham was appointed chief judge for a seven-year term that commenced on November 1, 2021.[3]
Education
Latham received an undergraduate degree from the University of California at Irvine in 1986, a master's degree from Yale University in 1989, and a J.D. from Yale Law School in 1992.[2]
