Christopher Barons
Christopher Barons was a Democratic candidate for District 139 of the New York State Assembly. The primary election was on September 14, 2010, and the general election was on November 2.
Barons was born in Rochester, New York on October 26, 1953. He graduated from Byron-Bergen Central High School and received an AA Humanities/Social Science from Genesee Community College and a B.A. Communication Arts from SUNY New Paltz.
Barons is employed as Technical Assistant III, American Red Cross Blood Services Division, West Henrietta. He was previously employed as coordinator, educational technology at Elba Central School from 1977 – 2005.
Barons is also a member of the Southern Poverty Law Center, Common Cause and the Green Party.[1]

Barons was uncontested in the September 14 Democratic primary. Barons was defeated by incumbent Stephen Hawley (R) in the general election on November 2.[2]
