Christopher Belt (Democratic Party) is a member of the Illinois State Senate, representing District 57. He assumed office on January 9, 2019. His current term ends on January 13, 2027.

Biography
Christopher Belt was born and lives in Centreville, Illinois. He graduated from Lincoln Sr. High School in 1990. He earned a bachelor's degree in history from Illinois State University, a master's degree in public administration from Southern Illinois University in Edwardsville, and a master's degree in professional counseling from Lindenwood University. Belt’s career experience includes working as a law enforcement officer and founding C. Belt & Associates, a professional and academic consulting company for individuals. He founded the Difference Makers Professional Organization, which describes its mission as "to strengthen the decision-making capabilities of males from nine to eighteen years of age." Belt was elected to serve as the board president of the Cahokia Unit School District.[1][2]
