Christopher Dobbins was the District 6 member of the Oakland Unified Board of Education in California. He did not file for re-election in 2014. Dobbins was first elected to the board in 2006.

Dobbins earned a bachelor's degree in urban planning from University of California-Berkeley, a teaching credential in social studies from California State University-Hayward, an MPA from California State University-Eastbay, and a J.D. and MBA from Golden Gate University. He is a teacher.[1]
