Christopher E. Cahill was a justice of the Ulster County Supreme Court and the Sullivan County Supreme Court in the 3rd Judicial District of New York. He was appointed to the Ulster County Supreme Court on June 4, 2007 and his nomination was confirmed by the State Senate on June 19, 2007. Later that year, he was elected to a full term.[1][2][3] Cahill retired from the court in 2021.[4]

Education

Cahill received his B.A. degree from Hamilton College in 1978 and his J.D. degree from the State University of New York at Buffalo School of Law in 1982.[3]

Career

Cahill began his career in November of 1982 as a litigation associate of the law firm of Remington, Gifford, Williams and Colicchio. He then worked as a principal law clerk to Supreme Court Justice Vincent Bradley from September 3, 1985 to November 24, 2006. He joined the Ulster County Supreme Court in 2007.[3]
