Fisher ran in the 2012 election for Wisconsin State Assembly District 78. He ran against District 77 incumbent Brett Hulsey (D) in the Democratic primary on August 14, 2012. No Republican has filed to run for this seat. Incumbent Democrat Mark Pocan is running for Wisconsin's 2nd District in the United States House of Representatives.[1] The general election took place on November 6, 2012.[2]
