Christopher G. Nesmith was a 2013 Democratic candidate for District 14 of the Georgia State Senate.[1]

Nesmith ran in a special election for Georgia State Senate District 14. The seat was vacant following Sen. Barry Loudermilk's (R) resignation to focus on his Congressional campaign. Nesmith faced Nicole Ebbeskotte (R), Matt Laughridge (R), Dwight Pullen (R), Dean Sheridan (R) and Bruce Thompson (R) in the special election, which took place on November 5. He did not garner enough votes to advance to the runoff.[2][1][3]
