Hollins (Democratic Party) was the Harris County Clerk in Texas. He was appointed to the position by the Harris County Commissioners Court on May 19, 2020, to replace Diane Trautman.[1] Hollins assumed office on June 1, 2020, for a term that expired on December 31, 2020.[2]
Biography
At the time he was appointed as county clerk, Harris was also serving as a vice chairman of the Texas Democratic Party. He is an attorney and worked at Hollins Law Group PLLC up until his appointment to public office.[3] Hollins' professional experience also includes working at Goldman Sachs and the consulting firm McKinsey & Company.[4]
Hollins obtained a B.A. from Morehouse College and an M.B.A. and J.D. from a joint program with Yale Law School and Harvard Business School.[3]
