Judy was first appointed to the state House on September 22, 2014.[1]
Biography
Representative Judy was born in Wabash, Indiana and spent most of his youth in Whitley County. He graduated from Manchester High School. Judy is a veteran of the Indiana National Guard and served in Iraq in 2008 as a combat medic. After this, in his professional career, he served as a licensed life and health insurance broker.[2]

Elections for the Indiana House of Representatives took place in 2014. A primary election took place on May 6, 2014. The general election was held on November 4, 2014. The signature filing deadline for candidates wishing to run in this election was February 7, 2014. Christopher N. Judy defeated incumbent Kathy Heuer in the Republican primary and was unchallenged in the general election. Steven J. Hively filed to run in the Republican primary but was removed from the ballot.[7][8] Judy was appointed to the seat on September 22, 2014, after Heuer resigned.[9]
