Christopher Munch
Christopher Munch was a judge for the Colorado 1st Judicial District Court. He was appointed to the court in 1986.[1] In February 2016, Munch announced his retirement from the court effective June 1, 2016. Munch was replaced by Diego Hunt.[2]
Education
Munch received his undergraduate degree from Cornell University and his J.D. from Stanford University School of Law.[3]
Career
Before joining the court, Munch was an attorney in private practice.[3]

Munch was retained in the general election on November 6, winning 71.39 percent of the vote.[4]
Judicial performance evaluation
The Colorado Commission on Judicial Performance announced its recommendations for judges up for retention in 2012. According to its website, the commission evaluates judges based on the following criteria: integrity, legal knowledge, communication skills, judicial temperament, and administrative performance.[5]
Judge Munch was recommended for retention by an unanimous vote. [3]
