Husband, father of four, dedicated Christian; believes in the power of community, hard work, and service. With a background rooted in both education and public safety, I will use my experiences to face the challenges of our district.
  • Strong Families: Strong families in Michigan’s 108th District are essential because they are the foundation of safe neighborhoods, a strong workforce, and resilient communities. When families have access to support, stability, and opportunities to stay connected and engaged, children are more likely to succeed in school, avoid risky behaviors, and grow into productive adults who choose to stay and invest in our region. Strengthening families in the 108 isn’t about creating new bureaucracy, it’s about empowering parents, supporting local institutions, and making sure existing community resources help families thrive for generations to come.
  • Public Safety: I believe public safety starts with strong local communities. In the 108th House District, that means fully supporting local law enforcement, fire and EMS, holding violent offenders accountable and respecting local control rather than one-size-fits-all mandates from Lansing.
  • Mental Health: Mental health is a critical part of public safety. I support expanding access to care in rural areas, increasing school-based counselors, and improving crisis intervention and substance-abuse services, especially for veterans, first responders, and families in need. There is an opportunity for the U.P. as a whole to reform mental health and make it better for everyone. We shouldn’t be sending our loved ones three to six hours away for treatment.
